Fifth on Teeling will welcome live music through its doors this Friday and Saturday night, starting with a new generation of music talent.
Sligo guitarist Rory O’Dowd, son of multi-instrumentalist Seamie O’Dowd, has been working hard on his own material and he will deliver a full set on Friday night (and the next three Friday nights).
He will also use the platform to highlight up-and-coming performers in Sligo, so expect to see a short set from a rising music star on the night.
Admission is free and there will be a late bar.
On Saturday night, January 17, resident DJs Gingerbread Man and Pedro will divert from their regular 80s disco to skip forward a decade, playing the best of 90s chart, indie and alternative hits.
