IDA Border manager John Nugent has said that IDA investment in Sligo could yield 150 to 200 jobs.
On Wednesday it was announced that the government has put €250 million of investment into The Action Plan for Jobs.
As part of the government’s plan the IDA will have a 5-year plan to roll out €150 million in a capital investment programme to help attract more multinational businesses into each region including the Border Region which Sligo is a part of.
