The first trailer for a new film starring Boyle actor Chris O’Dowd has been released.
“The Program” is based on the best-selling book “Seven Deadly Sins” by Irish sports journalist David Walsh. Walsh was one of the few journalists who continually questioned Lance Armstrong’s rise to cycling greatness and, after years of being vilified, he was eventually vindicated.
O’Dowd will play Walsh in the film, alongside American actor Ben Foster as Armstrong and double Oscar winner Dustin Hoffman.
The film will be given its premiere in France this September and will be released in Europe the following month.
