The Hawk’s Well Theatre is holding a very special celebration night for Sligo singer Sandy Kelly on Saturday, November 21 at 8pm to honour her incredible career.

Performing since the tender age of three in her family’s touring Fit-Up show; Sandy has enjoyed fame as a pop star in The Duskeys, represented Ireland in the Eurovision, hosted her own RTE TV Series “Sandy”, starred in West End Musicals and recorded with many musical legends.
Rackhouse Pilfer and a host of musicians come together to pay tribute to Ireland’s leading lady including Charlie McGettigan, Philomena Begley, Gerry Gutherie, the Duskeys, Marc Roberts, Sandie Ellis, The Conway sisters, Aoife Grennan, the Backwater Jack girls, Liam and Deirdre Cunningham, Dean Gurrie and many more.
In June of this year the Hawk’s Well celebrated local musician Donal McLynn with a fantastic night of music and proceeds went to St. Joseph’s in Ballytivnan. Previous celebration nights have included nights to celebrate Sligo’s Jazz Lads, Rick Epping, Seamie O’Dowd, Brian Leyden and Cathy Jordan during Fleadh Cheoil 2015.
Proceeds from the show will go to Ballytivnan Resource Centre. The show is booking fast and there are limited tickets available from the Hawk’s Well Box Office on 071-9161518. Tickets are €20 with a special Go See rate of €10 for under 18s.
