The Ryan Tubridy Show has joined once again this year with Fáilte Ireland’s summer marketing campaign and will be broadcasting live with RTE Radio 1 along the Wild Atlantic Way.
Tubs and his team will be stopping off in Strandhill in Sligo on Tuesday next, May 31. Their specially livered bus will be set up on the seafront right beside the Strandhill Surf Shop for the live broadcast from 9am.
Ryan will be travelling along the Wild Atlantic Way from Monday, May 30 to Thursday, June 2. People from Donegal to Clare will see the visual spectacle of the first Wild Atlantic Way and RTE Radio 1 bus – branded from top to toe with Wild Atlantic Way and RTE Radio 1 branding and Ryan’s image – travelling the Wild Atlantic Way.
As well as stopping off in Sligo, the bus will roll into Buncrana in Co. Donegal (Monday), Clifden in Co. Galway (Wednesday) and Kilkee in Co. Clare (Thursday).
Ryan will be interviewing some local tourism businesses from the surrounding area and discussing some of the many activities and experiences available to anyone touring the Wild Atlantic Way.
Fáilte Ireland is encouraging everyone to come out and attend the broadcasts. Fiona Monaghan, Head of Wild Atlantic Way, Fáilte Ireland, said:
“We are delighted that Ryan has decided to experience the Wild Atlantic Way first-hand and more importantly tell his listeners all about it. This is the third consecutive year the show has chosen to showcase the Wild Atlantic Way.
“This year spectators coming down to watch the broadcast in Strandhill can expect to see plenty of festivities, interviews, live music, and of course prize giveaways as well as hear about local tourism highlights. We are encouraging everyone to come on down and join in the fun to bring the Wild Atlantic Way to life through the airwaves.”
